By far, car paint is the first thing that speaks about our own personality, our preferences and who we are. While the engine is what gives us an incredible driving experience, what makes us true road dogs is how the outside of our car looks. Below, we show you the craziest and wildest finishing touches you will find this season:
Chameleon: It is one of the paintings that are among the favorites in countries like Japan and Germany, by 2020 it will take the same importance worldwide, because although it is not a completely new paint finish, in our continent it has been used rarely. The key feature of Chameleon paint is that it changes its colour depending on where you look at the car, and can take up to 5 different tones, leaving a whole world of possibilities for you to impress everyone on the road.
Candy: This is a seriously sporty finish, which aims to give a deep metallic finish to the new color of the car. You apply 3 coats of paint, where the base is the tone you want and then a mixture of two coats of Candy paint, which is transparent, and the thicker you put it, the more intense the background tone will be, and the metallic finish will give your sports car the appearance of being from another planet. It can be confused with the glossy style but nothing like it, as it’s a shiny, non-metallic finish.
Metallic chrome: It is a variation of the Candy where the objective is to leave it even more exotic, completely mirrored and as its name says, it is based on metal colors, such as gold, silver, bronze, rose gold, etc., and it can alternatively be given an iridescent effect. With this paint, a dramatic finish is achieved, which far outshines any wrapping technique, having a longer duration than common paints, thanks to the fact that it reflects the sun. One of the favorite styles for rap fans.
Hydrographic: This paint is more for tuning engine parts or car interior accessories, it consists of submerging the piece in a tub of water that has a layer of paint on the surface, this is printed with the contact and leaves a semi-plastic finish, perfect for simulating animal skins or marble textures, in motorcycles looks great when combined with well chrome accessories. On the dashboard and rims of our vehicle it also looks luxurious, giving a touch of elegance to the interior.
And what do you think about these trends? Which one do you go with?
