Tuning tricks that (maybe) you didn't know

Let's be honest, we've all been looking for tutorials to make our car look unique, or we tried the suggestions of the "tuning wizards" on the internet and then found that the result, besides being incomplete, looks like those of all the fans who went the same way. But if something is eye-catching, it's sure far above the average, and these tricks will take your projects to the next level:

Use a truck turbo-charger. One of the first steps we must do is to change the turbo of our machine, because it gives it more combustion and that is reflected in a big power increase, the bad thing is they are expensive which it limits us a lot. But there are some solutions, because if you go to the junkyard and find the right size turbo of a diesel truck for your engine, you can enjoy advantages such as compound load for the cheapest price you ever dreamed.

Change the fuel injection. The fuel injection systems are practically all universal, no matter the year or engine size, except for a few models and adapting them is very easy. What is the advantage of doing so? Well, some cars have very small injectors, ranging from 250cc per minute, while others are equipped with super large and aggressive injectors, up to 1600cc per minute, which give a brutal flow of gasoline to the engine, at a very low cost.

Mounting the radiator at the rear. It sounds crazy, but if we think about it, it's not. The radiator full of water is quite heavy, when we carry it backwards, we level the weight load along the car and we gain space inside the hood, which gives us the chance to put bigger accessories to the engine, for example, to put a truck turbo as we saw in the first trick, which will make things much funnier.

Quick release valves for turbo. If you have already changed the turbo of your engine for a bigger one, for sure you have experienced much more power, but there is still room for improvement. Because its coils are usually slower and generate delay combustion problems. To fix it, without damaging the fuel flow with temporary repairs, we have to use wastegate valves, which accelerate the coils as they open to let the full fuel flow through.

Surely, you've noticed that when it’s time to customize a car, doing the same as everyone else is not an option, and so it becomes a challenge that excites us. Does it also motivate you to experience new things? You already know it, tell us in comments which tricks you knew, which ones you have practiced before, and which ones you would like to include in your next modifications this year?  Don't forget to subscribe for more top-notch content and stay in tune!
